The Welcoming Committee is in the process of expanding their influence once again. The esteemed committee has been steadily gaining exposure within the church and has quickly become one of the most revered committees in recent memory. Their latest efforts are focused at retooling the management positions within the organization. "As we continue to expand and see growth in our committee, we have realized needs that the current management group cannot provide," said Tim Leung, the co-founder of the Welcoming Committee. "In order to fill these voids, we have begun the process of searching for potential candidates." Inside sources have attested that Co-founders Tim Leung and Steve Oh will promote Geunho Song to the Executive Board. While neither of the co-founders have either confirmed or denied the rumors, sources say that both Tim and Steve are very impressed with Geunho's work ethic, facial symmetry, and his incredibly soft skin. Reports are also speculating that the Welcoming Committee is targeting legendary ODM member, Dulla Yoo, to fill the recently created position of Dictator. The acquisition of Dulla Yoo would instantly make the Welcoming Committee the greatest committee in the history of the Open Door Ministry. Never before has so much talent and aptitude been packed into one committee, and the dream scenario would surely lead to greatness beyond levels ever imagined.

Baby Joshua will soon be a big brother as Dave and Esther are expecting to have a second baby coming. Esther is due in November and is expecting a girl!

After many years of serving both the Church and God faithfully, Jose has been asked to become a deacon for our beloved Open Door Ministry. Jose becomes just the fifth member of an elite group comprised of Il Yu, Dan Lee, Il Park, and David Shin. This honorary position is a testament to these gentlemen's faith and courage in upholding the standards of our Lord, Jesus Christ.

Tim Leung, the former President of the Fellowship Committee, has decided to cut ties with the highly touted committee, and is now undergoing efforts to create a new and improved committee that will better suit the church's needs. "The Fellowship Committee was not very supportive in my vision of bringing more glory to our church. They weren't providing enough funds to cover the expenses, and I was not about to sit around and wait for them to change their minds," said Tim Leung. "During my tenure in the Fellowship Committee, I realized a flaw in the way our church reaches out to people, so with the creation of a new Welcoming Committee, we hope to solve this issue." Tim Leung has teamed up with Steve Oh, a young prodigy from the Worship Committee, and David Shin, an esteemed prosecution attorney in the Chicagoland area, to create the new superpower committee. "When Tim came to me and told me his ideas and visions for the future, it was a no-brainer. His ideas made so much sense that it would have been wrong of me to turn him down. We immediately began bouncing new ideas off each other, and from that moment on, you could just tell that we had something special in the making," Steve Oh proclaimed. The founders of the Welcoming Committee profess to have some revolutionary ideas in the works that will completely change the current landscape of how the church operates. "It would not be good business to disclose all our ideas right now, but we are very excited and optimistic about what is coming."

ODM recieved its newest member just after the new year as Lynn gave birth to her beautiful baby daughter. Although Sung originally wanted to name the baby Effy, he finally caved into Lynn's wishes and agreed to name the new baby Evelyn.
