PASTOR BIOGRAPHY
Pastor James Yoo has been the pastor of Open Door Ministry since April 2000. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in philosophy at the University of Guelph in 1989 and earned his Masters degree in philosophy at York University in Toronto in 1992. He attended Knox Presbyterian Seminary and Wycliffe College in Toronto where he received his Master of Divinity in 1999. In 2000, he moved with his family to Chicago where he began Master of Theology studies in systematic theology at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Deerfield IL. He is currently completing his doctoral thesis in systematic theology at Trinity.
Pastor James is ordained under the Presbyterian Church of America (PCA). He and his wife Dulla have three children, (Michael, Lauren, and Paul), and a dog (Loki).
